That’s right; I have done the foolish thing of signing up to staying in school for 24 hours, of which we should stay awake for the whole lot and are not allowed to leave the building! I may have to go to sleep at a decent hour the night before, in preparation for '24 hour’s non-stop learning'.
You may ask why someone would sign up to something like this, well, its all in the name of charity. In May a teacher in my school visited schools and educational organizations working with Palestinian and other refugees in Lebanon. The charity EAI (education action international) work in areas affected by conflict to make sure refugees and other groups are receiving the basis human right of quality education. 25 students including myself are taking part in the 24 hour lesson hoping to gain as many sponsors as possible in order to raise money to go towards the charity outlined above. I’m hoping to raise as much money as possible, all donations will be gratefully received.
